JOF Army
Youth Ministry
The JOF ARMY (Armed and Ready Methodist Youth), for those in the
6th through 12th grades, is led by Pastor Glenda and 3
energetic adult volunteers. The group usually meets on Sunday evenings from
5:30-7:00 PM during the school year, with a snack supper and lesson or a local
recreational or mission activity. During the summer, we offer monthly
activities to keep the youth involved. We also participate each year in the
CTCYM (Central Texas Youth in Mission) Mission Trip. This year’s trip, June
13-19, is to Idabel, OK where our youth and adults, joined by youth from other
churches, will be working with the Choctaw Indians, building ramps, painting and
performing other home repairs. This year we are sending a team of 20 to the
mission project.
